Canola Fields
Northern Saskatchewan is loaded with Canola fields. They are almost golden in color and seem to be everywhere. We didn't realize that Canola is derived from Canada and oil!

Saskatchewan River
From a scenic lookout, you can see the Saskatchewan River below. Next, is a picture of a plaque telling the importance that this river played in the settlement of the area. This area is also popular because Whooping Cranes return here every year....unfortunately, not until August!

Great Old Building
Sitting in the middle of a canola field, this old building appears to be abandoned. However, the crop is planted around it and it still stands. Rather picturesque, isn't it?

Alberta
Continuing our travels, we are in Glowing Embers, a very large RV Park on the west side of Edmonton. It can accomodate 283 RV's, has a restaurant, exercise facility, a store and a gift shop. There may be more, but it is raining and we are staying in. Perhaps tomorrow we will investigate more.
