Folded Mountain
What a site! A great example showing all the twists and folds of the layers of rocks originally lying flat on the bottom of the ocean 175 million years ago. As the plate was squeezed from both sides the flat lines slowly buckled into folds...hence Folded Mountain!

Mystery Meat
We weren't sure what this animal was, but since it was our first animal sighting, we had to put it in. At first we thought it was a baby moose, but decided it might be a caribou. Any one know for sure?

Mom and Baby
Just as we were told, we saw a couple of small herd of mountain sheep. There were several babies with their mothers.Mom seems to be losing her coat. Still pretty warm here. It was so fun to see the animals just standing along the roadway with tourists snapping pictures.

Keeping Watch
Looks like he is either keeping watch over the herd, or posing for an insurance commercial!

At Last A Moose
Two years ago, our friends from Maine took us to Baxter State Park to see a moose. Unfortunately, the moose didn't know it and wasn't home! This one was waiting for us and posed for pictures....we only took 38!

When you have so many good ones to choose from, it is hard, but this one got 2 votes.

Muncho Lake
Joe found a beautiful campground at Strawberry Flat on Lake Muncho. We parked right at the edge of the Lake. The water was green and blue in color and crystal clear. Even though we had no electricity or water hookup, it was one of the very best places so far.
