Liard Hot Springs
Out of the ground comes the hot water into a pool. We got there about 8:00 in the morning and a crowd had already gathered.

Liard Hot Springs
This park had a short boardwalk over wetlands that led to the springs. Even though we got there around 8:00 a.m., there were several people already in the water. Benches in the middle of the pools let you could sit and enjoy the very warm water.

Buffalo
We saw two small herds of Buffalo along the road - about 20 in each. They were no more than 15 feet from the RV and didn't seem to mind that people were stopping and taking pictures.

Brown Bear
Our first bear sighting. He actually came down from the woods to give us a better look. Several cars were stopped and people were outside taking pictures. We offered to take one of them with the bear if they wanted a close up.

Why does a bear cross the road?
To get away from tourists. After posing for pictures he exited stage right. Enough posing for one day.
