Sightseeing
On Sunday we took a tour of Resurrection Bay. And we didn't get seasick.

One of the first animals we saw was a number (flock?) of puffins in the bay

Sea Lions
Here's a bunch of sleepy sea lions. The tour people said they generally hunt a night and sleep during the day.

Humpback Whale
Here's the whale going down. We missed the shot of him coming up (like in the insurance commercial)

Bear Glacier
Bear Glacier is the largest glacier on the Aialik Peninsula. It has pushed out gravel ahead of it which hides the ice breaking off into the water. (look closely and you can see the ice chunks off to the right)

Sea Otter
These guys generally float on their backs unless they are going down looking for food. When they find something they float like this to eat it.

Eagle
This eagle was just outside our RV where we were camped. The pilings he is sitting on were left after the 1964 earthquake which leveled the pier in Seward.
