Saskatchewan
We left Winnipeg this morning and traveled across the Trans-Canada highway to Regina and then north to Saskatoon. Not much along the way but a lot of farm land - very flat. The crops are way behind in the growing season from what we saw in Iowa. Saw a lot of field that were golden in color. Found out they are canola plants.

Traveling across Sasketchewan
Had a terrific headwind today - about 40 mph. When we headed north from Regina we started to see a number of canyons in the otherwise flat landscape. I'm assuming it must be left over from the glaciers that moved across the plains.

Saskatoon
Another view of the same valley out side of Saskatoon. Tonight we are staying in Saskatoon and will go on the Edmonton tomorrow. Temperature has broke. Down into the 50's tonight. Hope the wind is gone tomorrow.
